In December we added a new hot rod machine to our fleet at Mark William’s HQ. This turning center machine from the 80s was still making good parts, but was becoming a bottleneck hold up in our shop. Adding this new dual spindle dual turret machining center will allow us to make our current and new parts giving us some new capabilities and lights out machining potential to keep up with our new increased demand and sales! The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a $62 million contract to set up a new service depot capability for the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) interrogator system at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest in San Diego, California. The initiative will bring testing, diagnostic, and repair capabilities for the AN/APX-122A IFF system closer to frontline operations, helping improve system availability while potentially reducing maintenance turnaround and lifecycle costs.
